Back in 1969 we were given an opportunity from Datsun to prepare a PL-510 Sedan (and a four door at that) for F.I.A. competition at the Daytona 24 hour and the Sebring 12 hour endurance races. Dick Roberts, then head of Datsun competition, was to be one of our co-drivers. Little did we know that this was to become a lifelong love affair with the 510 and later the Z-car. Forty-four years later Jeff Winter, owner of Rallye-Sport and Winter Racing Engines in Westminster, CO is still modifying and building fast, heart-pounding cars!
